Society is an association of engineers, scientists, technologists, industry representatives, doctors and other health care, professionals. To promote, above all, the well-being of patients
The primary goal of the Society is to promote the highest ethical and professional standards in the practice of laser medicine and laser surgery.
The Society fulfills its tasks and strives to achieve this goal by promoting an active exchange of information, encouraging research in both the clinical and non-clinical fields, and monitoring the use of lasers in health care professions.
Membership in the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery means that both physicians and non-physicians maintain the highest ethical standards and adhere to these assumptions, standards and principles, the ultimate goal of which is patient safety and care.
It is the oldest international organization operating since 1980.
The dream of the founders (Dr. Ellet, Dr. Goldman, Dr. Friedman and 280 outstanding doctors and scientists) was that this organization should be unique and include, in addition to clinicians, outstanding research people in the fields of biophysics, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, laser biology and laser safety specialists.
From the outset, management determined that the primary goal should be to educate both physicians and laypeople, and asked the “Training Standards and Practice Committee” to formulate guidance to help hospital and clinic staff with authentication. The postgraduate education committee has developed additional guidelines for those wishing to develop laser courses. Their recommendations were quite specific, both in terms of different levels of complexity and the suggested content at each level.
Magdalena, as an active member of this community, constantly raises her qualifications, learning from the best, and her training program under Certifa Aesthetics is developed in accordance with the assumptions of the commission. This assures our students of the relevance of their choice of education with us. We always strive to transfer knowledge according to international standards based on recommendations and the current state of knowledge in the field of laser therapy.
Our courses are divided into a theoretical part and a practical part, which makes it easier for students to study at a convenient time.
